Optimized bone grafting material to prevent infection and promote regeneration

Britt Wildemann heads the Experimental Trauma Surgery at the University Hospital Jena since June 2018 and has a further affiliation at the Julius Wolff Institute at the Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
Fields of Interest: She and her teams are investigating the regeneration of the musculoskeletal system with the main focus on tendon pathologies, osseous regeneration and infection prophylaxis and treatment. Using in vitro studies of different cell types and different animal models, they continue to explore various approaches to influence tendon and bone healing and to treat infections.
