Induced membrane in guided bone regeneration field : reason for its success and improvement tracks.
Florelle is specialized in bone repair (for orthopaedic and maxillo-facial surgeries) and more generally for other tissue repair (cartilage, ligament, nerve, dental pulp).
For the last 20 years, she has been combining R&D with clinical research for the development of advanced therapy medicinal products using mesenchymal stromal cells from bone marrow and adipose tissue. She works at the University Hospital of Besançon and the University of Franche-Comté as researcher where she improved current surgery techniques by exploring the use of perinatal tissue. She ensures lectures/courses in her field for national and international institutions.
Florelle currently has European Orthopaedic Research Society (www.eors.info) ex-officio functions as EORS Ambassador program after being Ambassador for France. She has been elected in the board of International Placenta Stem Cell Society IPLASS (www.iplassociety.org) and nominated in the management committee of the COST International Network for Translating Research on Perinatal Derivatives into Therapeutic Approaches (www.cost.eu/COST_Actions/ca/CA17116).
